What is a PEO?
A PEO is a Professional Employer Organization. We make a full range of Human Resource expertise available to smaller businesses, like yours, at a fraction of the investment of hiring all that expertise on your own. We specialize in Human Resources and have experienced people working with successful programs in areas including hiring, compensation, applying regulations effectively, and improving employee performance. Our programs and ideas can have a positive impact on your business. Like other specialists such as law and CPA firms, we perform these services for numerous clients, so the economies-of-scale tip in your favor, generating a great deal of value for less than hiring all the expertise on your own. Simply put, we become a complete, operational Human Resource department inside companies who don’t have one, or who never thought they could afford one.
Can I Afford To Outsource?
The decision to outsource is related to cost, but also to other issues. Think about the position your business in now in. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, you are a candidate for outsourcing. You are a start-up business needing to offer benefits to your current and future employees. Through growth your company has become a multi-state organization. Your compliance issues begin to increase and become more complicated. You are now required to provide workers' compensation coverage to your employees (Example: You have hired your 5th employee in the state of Tennessee.). You find you are spending too much time on human resources paperwork and would rather focus your time on activities that will generate revenue. You feel a team of HR experts is needed for your company, rather than one individual to handle all your Human Resources needs. The question now becomes, can you afford not to outsource. The benefits of outsourcing are to Minimize operations cost Minimize time spent on HR-related issues Enable greater and more cost-efficient employee benefits by joining our pool of over 4,000 employees Receive professional support on many complex issues Have more time to focus on your company's core competency and revenue generation.
Am I a Typical Client?
There is no such thing as a typical client. Our client companies come from many industries, including healthcare, technology, retail, and business consulting. They range in size from five employees to over 200 (our average employee count per client is 25). Some are based at a single location, while others are located in multiple states. However, most of our clients have the following characteristics in common: They are in growth mode. Our client owners want to spend more time on activities that generate revenue, and do not want to focus on paperwork that does not. Many times, they are a multi-state operation (though this is not always the case). Our team of HR experts are knowledgeable with laws and regulations for nearly every state. They value HR and want to be compliant with the appropriate rules and regulations. They are focused on core competency and not the internal infrastructure.
